Gibson Funerals is the only funeral home in Cambridge offering a dedicated space to hold funerals and events. The River Room is designed to accommodate a range of service styles—from intimate farewells to larger gatherings. Light-filled and finished in earthy tones, it provides a peaceful space for ceremonies that are personal and meaningful. The River Room is fitted with a modern audio/visual suite including livestreaming capabilities for the inclusion of relatives and friends around the world.
The River Room also boasts a dedicated reception lounge expanding our ability to host families before and after services. This modern, purpose-built space will offer a relaxed environment for gathering for refreshments, sharing memories, and connecting with others. The lounge also serves as an overflow area for larger funerals with a large screen and a full audio system.
Our private viewing rooms provide a quiet and comfortable setting for those wishing to spend time with their loved one, offering privacy and warmth for reflection.
